Just updated to Mac OS 10.7.3 and each time I attempt to open Firefox I receive the message; "Firefox quit unexpectedly". Can't use FF! Repeated attempts to open FF result in the same message. Downloaded FF again and the same message occurs. Safari, of course, works but that is not my choice.

Hey b00m3r,

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.

Hopefully this helps!

Thanks for your response. Before you replied, I decided to remove Firefox and then reinstall it. That solved the problem. I can only guess that when I upgraded my OS to 10.7.3, a jump of two versions, some file was corrupted.
    Anyway, I appreciate your help.
