I want to check ssl/tls version (ssl3.0, tls1.0, tls1.2 or etc.) used to connect to a website. But Firefox has no UI to check tls version. Can you add a way to check ssl/tsl version?

Both IE9 and Chrome has a method to check ssl version.

hello eexc, thanks for your input. i currently only know of the security tab of the page information that displays the used cipher, but not if ssl/tls is used (support for tls 1.1 and 1.2 was just turned on by default in firefox 27).

if you feel that it's a missing feature in the browser file a bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org or use https://input.mozilla.org/feedback for general feedback.

A possible way that this can be implemented would be via a pseudo response header similar to what is use for SPDY (X-Firefox-Spdy:3)
