I cannot locate my Firefox email. I used it last night. How do I get in to it?

I have a new Computer with Windows 8 and as I do not like Internet Explorer (it never works) I use my Firefox for most everything. I enjoy Facebook and as my email was unsatisfactory on Explorer I opened up an account last night with Firefox. However I cannot find out how to access it. I used it last night and sent out two emails. I even sent one to Firefox thanking them for allowing me to have my email with them instead of Explorer. Please help me to locate my email account. I need an Icon on the desktop so I can get into it easily.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail".

Look at your e-mail address. That should tell you what service you are using.
