Just downloaded Firefox after Chrome kept crashing except I'm having the problem where when I try to go to Facebook it redirects me saying that "the site is not secure." I've gone through all the relevant security settings and nothing it working.

Then I tried Tumblr to see if this was the case with all social media. It let's the site through but only with text and no formatting or graphics. Again, I tried going through the settings but I see absolutely nothing worthwhile or helpful.

Please help!

Hey Lauren!

This is definitely one annoying error message. I believe it's caused by your antivirus software. I see you have a Avast addon installed. That lets me know you have Avast installed on your system. My advice is to go into the Avast settings and uncheck the "Enable HTTPS Scanning" setting. Once you have done that, retry visiting the site in both Firefox and Chrome and let me know the results. Thanks!

Hi Lauren, sorry to bug you but just wanted to confirm that my post fixed your problem. Sometimes people mark their posts as solved by accident. So I just want to be sure. :)
