Firefox is seriously messed up after upgrading to version 91. Many websites that had color and objects on the page now are just black and white with most content missing. For example Google Calendar has lost all color. The issue impacts most websites - some with moderate impact and others with serious impact. Basically Firefox 91 is no longer usable.

How do I fix this?

Recent release notes say that Firefox automatically enables High Contrast Mode when "Increase Contrast" is checked on MacOS. It can be turned off in FF settings under General -> the Colors... button -> Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above -> Never.

For example, here is what this page (the Mozilla support page I am editing right now) looks like like in Firefox vs Safari. Notice that the color in the "Avoid support scams" is gone in Firefox.
