The Search bar always has this prompt:

"Search with Google or enter an address"

I think that is strange because it implies Google will be used, no matter what, unless I have the absolute correct address to enter!

That implies that "Google" will always be used to do my Searches......which is the whole point I'm trying to avoid. Thank you, Nancy B
