When I recived the 9.0 update it was set to search u.k sites and not U.S. sites like amazon.com. Instead it was set to amazon.co.uk.

How do I get the setting back to my home region?

Luckily I didn't have to full uninstall and just tried downloading the full install from the firefox website.

I'll have to check the about.config the next time this happens and see if that field changed.

Uninstall the current version and install the en-US version.

You can look here for search engines:

It was english till this update as far as I know and all updates were provided automaticly through the browser. Is there just an update to bring it back since somethings fudged up?

If something like that goes wrong with an update then you either need to install the correct language version or add the needed search engines yourself.

What is the value of the general.useragent.locale pref on the about:config page?
