Hi,

 My Tbird email has been hacked.  Not suspected but proven.  I have changed the root

email account password - logged in to Tbird and did an attempt to Get Email and it asked me for the password. I provided it and it seemed to work and the password -seemed- to get saved.

 But when I went back in a little later - Tbird asked for the password again.  I did NOT

provide it this time but used a direct browser based email process - that works with the new password. So password confirmed.

 Very concerned about Tbird not saving the new password and re-using it.  Is it  

possible that Tbird itself has been hacked? A virus scan of the entire computer did not show any problems (Norton).

Somewhat of a green small fish here.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered many times before.

Currently: wanting to transfer several existing Thunderbird profiles from Old Vista laptop to newer Windows 7 laptop that already has an existing Thunderbird setup with 3 existing profiles.

Export is taking a long time on he old Vista laptop.

Q? Can I copy existing profiles (folders) from old Vista laptop and paste them into the existing profiles folder on the newer Windows 7 laptop?

In summary...

Existing profiles on both old (source) laptop and new (destination) laptop.

Export from old laptop taking too long/Thunderbird hanging.

Q? Copy folders/profiles from old and paste folders/profiles into new?

Good morning, I have a problem with my inbox, because after a week Thunderbird deletes my messages on other computers, it works fine, I don't have a pop account, I only have an imap account, I don't have archiving enabled, I don't have any rules, the account has been reconfigured several times, I could find out how to fix it?

     Thank you,For the last 12 to 10 months, my channel, JONI VCD and JONI  VCD Center have had no one else in charge. 
I was by myself.  After the JONI VCD center hack, someone I know worked with Anydesk for a while.

My desktop still shows strange things from time to time, for example:- Desktop suddenly stops working.  Looks like someone else is running deskstop.  So you have to give new windows.  Tell me if you need any proof of my Deskstop.  They must also provide windows, otherwise, there may be problems.

I am sure this is pointless as you all never help and people don't understand this forum aggravation

well this is my question if I create an account and install fire fox on a different computer as the computer I am on is kaput will I recover all my info sites usernames & passwords on the new computer

why can I customize the tool bar on 1 computer and it stays that way every time I open fire fox but on another computer I have to constantly customize it as I all tools to the tool bar but they constantly disappear when I reopen fire fox and have to constantly move your pointless logo to overflow as it is worthless to me

I am sure you will not get this or help so hanks for the aggravation

I am moving to a new web host and want to backup my emails before I migrate to new host.

Need help with large 23GB profile of data and some steps that will work. I am a bit confused by some things I read and have tried. Important to save files and addresses of important contacts. Have lots of backup drive room, but need to understand proper steps to do this.

I'm a supporter of Tbird and Dev Team.

I have old Pocket account that goes name@gmail.com, and it have many useful links I archive. 3 years ago, I created Mozzila acc that goes name@outlook.com, and it have all my bookmarks and settings. Before when I used Mozzila Firefox, I logged to Pocket with my old name@gmail.com acc and stored more articles. Now 1-2 months ago, I can not log to my Pocket with my old name@gmail.com it redirect me to name@outlook.com (Mozzila acc) and I can not log in to my old one on Desktop.

Somehow I logged in to Pocket app on Android with my old acc, and old articles are there, I want to know how to use old Pocket acc with old name@gmail.com on Firefox acc name@outlook.com?

Mozillia Thunderbird is always wanting to update and I never want to restart my computer because I have lots of windows open that I don't want to close. Yesterday I did it and my entire E mail program disapeared along with all my customer contacts, files, etc. I need to find my old account!!! I still get the E mails on my phone, but not on my computer. PLEASE!! I really need help.
