If my home calendar is CAT ( Central African Time) and I am travelling in another time zone, for example NZ. If I enter an event on my google calendar on android, the time is displayed on Lightning in my home zone, not my local or travelling zone. not that I am aware of, but you could just change your time zone in options to reflect wherever you actually are. so when in NZ everything will show as NZ time.
