When importing bookmarks, can I import them to a folder other than "Bookmarks Menu"?

more options

I want to import bookmarks from an html file. I would like to keep them separate from the bookmarks I already have in Firefox. Can I import them into a sub-folder that I create within the "Bookmarks Menu" folder?

For example, I might make a folder "Imported Bookmarks".

I have Firefox 6.0 and Windows 7.

Thanks.

They will be imported into a folder at the bottom of your "Bookmarks Menu" folder.

Simply drag it to where you want it, and rename it to "Imported bookmarks from ....". It will still be somewhere in you "Bookmarks Menu" though.

Unless you import them through the File menu directly from another browser.

Suggest you create a bookmarks backup if you are going to play where you not familiar.

  • "Ctrl+Shift+B" > Import and Backup > Backup
