Hi,

When i'm on a page that has a gif animation or a video Firefox may or may not crash, I can't determine what are the key factors which cause this.

gifs - Facebook, Reddit, Imgur Website - https://zoox.com/

When firefox crashes, it stops the entire computer from working, and the only solution is to "hard restart".

This is a major problem because I have unsaved work in other programs on my computers, and when I have to hard restart, I sometimes loose my progress in other projects. I left Chrome, because I thought firefox was doing great stuff, but now I'm thinking I may have to go back... :/

Anyway, thanks for looking into this.

Hi, do what you have to do. Your Video Card Drivers look in good condition, do not forget to update them both : adapterDescription: Intel(R) HD Graphics P630 driverDate: 2-28-2018 adapterDescription2: NVIDIA Quadro M2200 driverDate2: 5-11-2018

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Make sure to include the bp- as in the picture.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Hi thanks for the quick response!

Unfortunately, there are no crash reports when I do about:crashes, this is why i submitted a new thread for the problem.

Is there another way to send more information to Firefox for diagnosis?

Thanks, Jeremy

No. Crash Reports are sent else where for analysis to figure out problems for the next version.

Ones we ask for are local ones not yet sent so we can work with those. Since do not have any.

Why did you start a new thread and what is it's name please/title

When the crash happens, I cannot use my mouse, keyboard, or CTRL+ALT+DELETE to resolve the issue. Everything freezes. I must restart the computer by pushing the power button. Therefore, the"crash report" dialogue box does not appear because I have to restart my computer.

Is there another way to manually share information to help solve the problem?

The name of the thread is "Firefox Crashes". I can rename it if you would like.

I started a new thread because I couldn't find information on this problem in other threads.

Thanks
