Is there a way to change back the look of the tabs to the way they looked before the 89.0 update? I have a hard time to see what tab is active, it was so easy before the update.

I suggest you use add-ons like Firefox Colour (which I use) where you can personalize colours and change the active tab colour (I think that would help you hopefully).

You can find that here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-color/

Alternately, an add-on theme can recolor the top area. If you prefer the colors of the "Default" theme from Firefox 57-88, someone created an add-on theme that emulates it. You can give it a try here:

Hi, I don't believe you can change the look of the tab to before except for uninstalling firefox and reinstalling the old version. I suggest you use add-ons like Firefox Colour (which I use) where you can personalize colours and change the active tab colour (I think that would help you hopefully).
