I don't understand the problem. It seems you added a contact to your addressbook, but when you compose a message, the contact isn't there. True? Please clarify.

I have what I believe is a similar (same?) problem.

I'm using 102.4.2 (64-bit) in Kubuntu.

I have my contacts in a CardDAV folder. That addressbook is set as the default startup.

When I start a new message and begin typing the name of a known recipient, Thunderbird does not offer any completion options at all.

I do not have this issue on two Windows instances of Thunderbird set up the same way.

Thoughts?
