I had a laptop Windows 7 laptop that fried itself, a puff of grey smoke came out of the air vent on the side of the laptop and now I have a Windows 10 Pro laptop. I saved the file "Old Firefox Data". Were do I insert these two files (folders) in Firefox to restore it back to it's condition before the new laptop?

Hi Richard, do you have access to any other folders on your old hard drive? I ask that because Old Firefox Data could be quite old: folders were moved there when you used the Refresh feature and that could have been some time ago.

To transplant an entire old Firefox profile folder into your new laptop, please see the following threads:

Please use your actual profile name (such as default-release or default-release-1679350213712) in place of the profile names other users had in those threads.
