Hi, Recently my laptop failed due to HDD and now I wish to transfer about 200 emails from a Galaxy TabA 8 in Thunderbird inbox to Thunderbird in new laptop for the purposes of back up.

Is there another way other than sending each one to myself one by one?

Where in tablet are they located?

And thence in order to back up emails from laptop is there a method contents from Thunderbird in total can easily be backed up?

Or should I just back up relevant folders.

Many thanks in advance, Dean

Last time I checked, Galaxy Tab A 8 is an android device, and there is no Thunderbird for android (yet). Which email app exactly are you running on your tablet? Mail app on mobile devices typically use IMAP to access email, so your emails should still be on your server and accessing them on your laptop is as simple as adding that account to Thunderbird using IMAP.
