Two party authentication always required with Firefox at my bank's site

I have switched to a new bank. For security reasons they require two party authentication for several access of their website from any PC. They can't tell me exactly how many times access is required before the 2-factor authentication is dropped but from experience with other browsers it is usually 6-12 times. With Firefox for some reason it never stops requiring 2-factor. No mater how many times I access the website. The bank itself has been of little help on this. For certain banking operations it appears they switch you to a third party server.

I suspect it may have something to do with cookies and possibly third party cookies but I am not sure. Can you provide any assistance on this?
