I have avast for security here the last several months it will stop this sight from getting in(I hope). I am a novice to all of this tech stuff. Avast keeps stopping this www.newstrackr.co from getting in, states this url is a blacklist. Only happens when i try to us firefox.

I browse a lot of Instagrams written in foreign languages. I can right click captions to translate, but the menu option to translate automatically is grayed out. How do I enable it?

bold text How to stop firefox from continually making popups saying an extension has changed the page. It is so annoying in regard to Tabliss which changes every new page photo. Its ridiculous that firefox does this & so annoying that firefox is not respecting my block popups rules. Its only started about a week or two ago & it is happening every time i change pages. Its intrusive and annoying that firefox has no regard for what i want on my computer.

When I click the extensions button, the "Personalize your Firefox" page loads. The extension menu does not appear. Steps: 1. All extensions are enabled. I have disabled them and re-enabled them. 2. In the Privacy and Security settings, I have confirmed that "Let Firefox make personalized recommendations" is unchecked. As the problem persisted, I unchecked every data collection box. 3. I have re-started Firefox, re-started the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. 4. The extension button functioned perfectly well for the life of this computer. The only difference between yesterday and today is that I hibernated the computer last night. I always do that and the extension button always displays menu -- until today.

Two days ago, my Firefox was updated to version 133.0.3. Since then, the add-on "I don't care about cookies" doesn't work well anymore. Unteil two days ago, I hadn't been asked about cookies for a very very long time, now I'm being asked several times a day. I installed the add-on "I still don't care about cookies" in addition, but that doesn't help either.

I have the last Firefox version and am trying to add extensions (e.g. video download helper). When I click on Add to Firefox, it works at loading the extension, but without any success. The blue dot in the gray square dances and dances and dances.... Thanks !!

I just added Search on Google Lens to my Firefox "Add-ons Extensions" because I need to identify a simple image, but I can't figure out how to make it work. I put my mouse pointer on te image and right click, but I do not get a context menu with a Google Lens choice. What do I need to do to make Google Lens work on my computer?

I FEEL LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT WHEN USING Firefox Browser. It is the only browser I use and I have been using Firefox for 10+ years. I've spent thousands of hours using it but due to my GREAT IGNORANCE of the best way to use and maximize my efficiency, my precious time is being wasted. I FEEL LOST MUCH OF THE TIME. IS IT POSSIBLE ORGANIZED MY USE OF FIREFOX IN A WAY THAT WILL MAKE IT A PLEASURE TO USE? For example my Windows fire Explorer if very organized and based on a logical system that I created. With Firefox I've created hundreds Bookmarks and I've started organized them but it doesn't automatically sort a folders or bookmarks when I put them in and that is a huge inconvenience because I sometimes forget to do that and then I can't find what I need.

I've built computers and installed hardware and complicated software; I've done a little bit of Excel programing as well. I am a well educated person with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and I also have several post graduate certifications but I feel like Firefox is cumbersome to use. Now that "feeling" has to do with my ignorance most likely SO is there anyone out there who can point this frustrated researcher in the direction that will make me a virtuoso with Firefox? For example I could in my Bookmarks create project related folders with the specific tabs I would like to have open, the question would be is there a way I can open 5-10 links in a folder, with a minimal of clicking? I'm sure there are other smarter ways to work but I don't know Firefox well enough to know how to shape it around my specialty needs. I stick with Firefox because it is apparently one of the safest browsers. I have installed a few Add-ons and Themes, like "Tree Style Tab" and "Go To Playing Tab" both of which I like. I'm still trying to figure out how to have Google Lens work on my Firefox. I read all the instructions but nothing seems to work. Is it me or is it a problem with Firefox browser, or what?

Using Firefox 134.0, Video Downloadhelper 9.1.0.44 detects only the first video on a non-YouTube site. When a second video is selected and begins to play, it is not recognized ("No media to process in current tab). F5 Refresh does not change this behavior. I've tried clearing cookies & site data, cached files & pages, history, and site settings. The only workaround is to close Firefox completely and restart. I've tried going back to older versions of Firefox and Video DLH. Prior to about 4-6 weeks ago there was no problem. For comparison, VDLH works just fine in Chrome on this same site.

i fixed the problem but others may not know how to deal with the issue i deleted to extension via the extension puzzel block at top of browser then rebooted my laptop it was a bit of a pain but i dealt with it it may help to let others know the issue with bing extension

Running firefox 133.0.3 cannot get the review checker icon to show on amazon, bestbuy, or walmart. about:config options all "true" or enabled. Running addblock plus but turned off for amazon without any change.

I have tried installing extensions on https://addons.mozilla.org. Everything else online works fine, but https://addons.mozilla.org gives me "Download failed. Please check your connection. " after 10 minutes of loading icon. Browsing works fine. I have tried with and without a VPN. It used to work. Other devices, and firefox on dualbooted linux work fine.
