Hi to all,

I send messages over php with a link, for example:

Koordinaten: <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.7997283719618&mlon=7.796087265014649&zoom=15&layers=M" title="Kartenübersicht im Browser öffnen">49.7997283719618, 7.796087265014649</a></p>

When I copy the source code the link is correct. When I copy the whole html mail source code in a blank page and save it as .html, the link is correct, too. It works and the code generator (notepad++) shows no error.

But:

In the Mail Preview an -view the link is shorten to: ttps://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.7997283719618&mlon=7.796087265014649&zoom=15&layers=M The first h is gone. Any idea, how this could happen?!

I used to be able to copy a Table from a Word document and past it into a Thunderbird email and maintain the formatting. Between 1 Nov and 2 Nov I can no longer do this. When I copy and paste the formatting is lost. Can you help please? Thank you.

I would like to turn the Thunderbird Spam Filter totally off. It marks legit mails with *** Spam *** and is just annoying.

I followed all instructions in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages

I unchecked 'Enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account' in all accounts.

AND STILL: Why is the junk filter active?

I would like to raise a bug report for this.

thunderbird version 2024 - toolbar customization: missing: "delete" and "junk"

we send a note as i handle average day, some 1000 emails in thunderbird.

for handling this , we use thunderbird last 10 years, where as the mail toolbar is:

previous - next - (delete ) - (junk )

In all versions up to 2023 , we would install above 4 (four ) settings on one line after each other.

In the new version from 2024 , the settings between: ( ) , are no longer in the main possibilies, but

we must use these settings on the line under; which takes far more time than all on one line.

Is it possible to have the ( ) settings, in the next new version , back again , like before ??

I have not changed my email accounts or my Google & Microsoft usernames or passwords. A few days ago when I started Thunderbird, two Google pop-ups arrive reading "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your Google Account" demanding that I deny or allow it. Why might this be happening and how do I stop it? This does not occur with other email apps such as Outlook for Windows.

I am unable to send emails. My internet provider tells me that it is Thunderbird. I receive a send message error when trying to send and something about the outgoing server.

I have contacted my Internet provider and they are unable to get my thunderbird to work can you help me get it working I have it installed on an old computer and it works fine this is a new computer I have AVG and a AVG VPN if this helps we went through all the POP and smtp setting but it still wont work, and I get an error message attachment of Screen shot thank Jenny

I am trying to create a Primary Password but getting message: "Unable to change Primary Password" Using Thunderbird Version 128.4.1esr | Released November 4, 2024 under Windows 11.

After scanning documents from Epson printer and using the send-to email function I am not receiving the email with attachment. I have also tried switching from Epson WiFi back to home WIFI and I still don't receive them

Hi,

 My Tbird email has been hacked.  Not suspected but proven.  I have changed the root

email account password - logged in to Tbird and did an attempt to Get Email and it asked me for the password. I provided it and it seemed to work and the password -seemed- to get saved.

 But when I went back in a little later - Tbird asked for the password again.  I did NOT

provide it this time but used a direct browser based email process - that works with the new password. So password confirmed.

 Very concerned about Tbird not saving the new password and re-using it.  Is it  

possible that Tbird itself has been hacked? A virus scan of the entire computer did not show any problems (Norton).

On installing Thunderbird on my new Windows 11 computer, restore of backed up Profile did NOT restore my calendar. The calendar file is definitely in my Profile backup and it is over 1000 kb but nothing I have tried will import this local.sqlite file. I cannot find any other software that will import this file. Help. Thank you.

Recently I opened Thunderbird and it automatically added the following folders to my account:

All the generic yellow folders below the Deleted trash can icon suddenly appeared and they weren't there or weren't shown before. I right-mouse clicked on the account folder, went to Subscribe, unticked the folders that I don't want to subscribe to (all the yellow ones were there), restarted Thunderbird and they all still appeared and the boxes I unchecked, had just rechecked themselves.

I don't want them shown. Is there anyway to fix this?

When routinely compacting folders I always get the error message that Inbox folder could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. I have repeatedly tried to repair the folder and have confirmed all folder permissions are as they should be-i.e., full control, without success. So I thought the thing to do is delete the folder and create a new Inbox. First to save the messages I want to keep to my 2024 Archive and I selected about 430 messages to archive. Those are now lost as far as I can tell and did not make it to Archives. I tried to delete Inbox folder and it would not delete. I then deleted messages in the folder one by one. It turns out that there is one message that would not delete no matter what (a Craigslist conversation). I try to delete or move to trash and nothing happens. So now my Inbox has one email left in it but it says that it contains 240MB! (The size of my missing 430 messages???) What is going on? I also have the bug that opens Inbox on some random previous email and not on the latest one. My OS is Windows 10, TB version 128.4.0esr, and Anti Virus is Windows Defender.

Before, when exporting mails in pdf, I could indicate that I also needed an index of all mails, which is no longer possible? If I choose export pdf, no choice anymore?

I recently tried to set up Thunderbird to receive emails on my smart phone while on vacation. The phone was new, and I ran into all kinds of problems with it, including messing up most of my passwords. When I got home; I'm getting a sign in error on my email account, along with other problems. How can I reset to a new password so I ran open the emails that have stacked up?

I can find no difference of settings between five accounts that Get Messages just fine and several accounts that STOPPED DOING SO -- getting no emails even when I click on dropdown for individual account

I have an icloud email address in Thunderbird on my windows laptop. I changed my apple id password and the icloud email has stopped working on my laptop. It asks for a password and does not accept my new password.
