Hey, I really enjoy your effort for bringing thunderbird to mobile devices, however one thing that I realized since K-9 is that when composing messages HTML is not supported unfortunately..

Also I would like to be possible to add my signature that has HTML in it also, however it does not render as an HTML String but renders as a normal text :/

I believe that this for companies is very important!

I send messages over php with a link, for example:

Koordinaten: <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.7997283719618&mlon=7.796087265014649&zoom=15&layers=M" title="Kartenübersicht im Browser öffnen">49.7997283719618, 7.796087265014649</a></p>

When I copy the source code the link is correct. When I copy the whole html mail source code in a blank page and save it as .html, the link is correct, too. It works and the code generator (notepad++) shows no error.

But:

In the Mail Preview an -view the link is shorten to: ttps://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.7997283719618&mlon=7.796087265014649&zoom=15&layers=M The first h is gone. Any idea, how this could happen?!

I used to be able to copy a Table from a Word document and past it into a Thunderbird email and maintain the formatting. Between 1 Nov and 2 Nov I can no longer do this. When I copy and paste the formatting is lost. Can you help please? Thank you.

Thunderbird android fails to login to outlook account with automatic configuration, which also seems to be the Microsoft recommended. On android 13.

Steps: Add account > enter your_mail@outlook.com > automatic configuration > [Accept] in the webview of microsoft asking to authorise TB

Message popup: Checking incoming server settings failed Server error Server returned the following message: User is authenticated but not connected.

I am unable to send emails. My internet provider tells me that it is Thunderbird. I receive a send message error when trying to send and something about the outgoing server.

I have contacted my Internet provider and they are unable to get my thunderbird to work can you help me get it working I have it installed on an old computer and it works fine this is a new computer I have AVG and a AVG VPN if this helps we went through all the POP and smtp setting but it still wont work, and I get an error message attachment of Screen shot thank Jenny

After scanning documents from Epson printer and using the send-to email function I am not receiving the email with attachment. I have also tried switching from Epson WiFi back to home WIFI and I still don't receive them

I have also tried scanning from a HP printer and sending to my email but have not received it

Before, when exporting mails in pdf, I could indicate that I also needed an index of all mails, which is no longer possible? If I choose export pdf, no choice anymore?

I can find no difference of settings between five accounts that Get Messages just fine and several accounts that STOPPED DOING SO -- getting no emails even when I click on dropdown for individual account

So I have two exchange accounts. Both were working until a recent Thunderbird update. Now they both will receive email, but only one will send. The offending account will spine for a bit on send and error out with the change password or retry. Both do not work. I have tried everything from recreating the account to creating a new SMTP account. I am at a loss at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am using,

Thunderbird 128.4.1esr (64-bit) Avast as in the pic. Also the SMTP setting in the pic. These are the same as the account that is work bar the credential change. This on Windows 11.

With the latest update to version 128.3.3 in October 2024, I have lost the local folders to one email account and the address books to both email accounts. Any advice in how to retrieve them?

I'm using 115.16.0esr (64-bit) for Linux. I received an email message. I have the protection for not download images (I don't know if this is relevant, but the issue only happened after I select download images, as I didn't try before). Now, when I select the message, I can't scroll down and see the bottom of it. Neither with the mouse scroll wheel, not using arrow or page down keys.

I tried opening the message in another tab, and did not work. I can only read the whole message when I click to reply, in the new message.

What's going on?

I am setting up a new computer, and have installed thunderbird. When I try to use the Troubleshooting Information "Profile Folder" option, it tells me the location is not available.

How do I get to that location so I can paste abook.sqlite and history.sqlite in and be on my way?

My entire experience with TB has changed and I don't know if it's something I did or if TB changed its format. I just want my old start screen back to the way it was before. Now, I send an email with photos included IN THE EMAIL and when I look at Sent email it looks nothing like what I sent and the photos are at the bottom of the screen as attachments. If these changes are on TB's end, I'm definitely not happy with them. Is there a way to get the previous format back?
