I have noticed that Firefox has some severe performance issues, whether it be playing Youtube videos, or loading websites, or even loading localhost while running a node server, which doesn't even require an internet connection, yet it takes time to reload the page, which instead only takes an instant on Chrome.

For some reason, I am getting message that the Certificate for server is not valid (etc.). I can not get or send my emails as of this morning. Is there something I can do to resolve this issue?

HI-lately have been receiving this message. Been using this site for a few years and this is new. They (in UK) say there are no other issues from other users and the site works fine with Safari. Emptied cache, quit and restarted Firefox. Any ideas? Have no other issues with Fire fox. Thank you in advance.

The Help is recommending clearing the startup cache, but I don't know what that is so I can't decide if it's something I want to do. Is it the same place that stores all my cookies and other saved material, or is it something different? If it's different, what does it store and why would clearing it be useful?

so apperantly there's a bug in iOS app which is really annoying. On the bottom there's a + together with page pick and it's working bad.

I can no longer access my local TrueNAS server nor router via Firefox. My current version is 133.0.3. Safari has no trouble. Firefox gives no warning, no Advanced button, no option to bypass security. All I get is: "Unable to connect An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.102.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web."

I have tried so many settings, troubleshootings, workarounds, I can't begin to list them. It happens in troubleshooting mode. I have created SSL certificates on the server many different ways to no avail. I'm thinking I will have to abandon Firefox with it's obscure, no-way-through security. But I wanted to ask for help first. Please help.

Hi! Firefox has been my default broser for many years. I recently started using Biketerra https://biketerra.com/ Whwn I try to start a ride I get the error message shown in the screen shot. 'Your Browser Does Not Support Bluetooth'

Version 133.0.3 (64-bit) Windows 10 Desktop PC Bluetooth Dongle

The browsers reccomended in the screenshot work without any issue.

Is this a known limitation of Firefox, or am I missing a setting somewhere? :-)

Hello, we are experiencing a strange issue: on accessing speedhub.eu after all web element are loaded the whole page flashes once to black for a fraction of a second and then all the web elements are rendered back ok. This happens from time to time only on Firefox since a few months back (tested with a hand of other browsers and no issue there). Any Idee why ?

I have a brand new Pc, with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900x processor, and an Asus GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics processor.

Operating system is Windonws 11

When loading firefox, all words "corrupt" when the cursor is moved over them. Either they create blank spaces, ascii keys or just general gibberish.

This does not happen with Microsoft Edge.

All drivers are up to date and I have deinstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice.

Firefox hesitates sometimes, and videos (especially often on Facebook and sometimes on You Tube) often pixelate - that is, the video screen turns into something like a matrix with primarily green pixels. See screenshot of FB video below

Two questions 1. Is there a setting that will result in email links opening in firefox rater than defaulting to microsoft edge?

2. Some applications are just sluggish in firefox but perform fine in microsoft. Same question, is there settings I should look at? Security is set on medium.

No emails received since 12/31/24. Normal daily load 50 to 100 emails. Traffic normal up to and including 12/31/24. I had been starting up a cellphone during the no-email period and may have caused the email problem because of confusion with gmail/google settings. I do not use a gmail account, only a Hostgator account, sherm@shermworks.com

So for Facebook, I switch to the desktop site via the triple dot menu and it changes to the desktop site. But at one point, something does acrefresh of the page - I didn't select. It reverts to the mobile page. But when I click on the triple dot menu, it says I am using the desktop site. However, the page still is on the mobile site. If I go back it is still showing the desktop site. I turn it off but it slides back to the desktop menu.

When viewing a document on Ancestry there are blank squares such that I can read the whole document. This only happens on Fire Fox. When I use Google Chrome I can read the whole document. How do I fix this on Fire Fox.

I saved an iCalendar file from my Outlook calendar, I went to tools/import in Thunderbird. I am at step 3 which says, "Select the ICalendar (.ics) file yu would like to import." Te first time I did this step, I selected the file and almost immediately I saw the results. But, then I thought maybe I wanted to increase the date range of my Outlook calendar. After doing so, I went back to tools/import in Thunderbird to import that file. Now, when I do that at step 3, Thunderbird seems to "freeze." I see no results for the iCalendar having been imported. If I wait several minutes, Thunderbird now allows me to go to my mail tab, but I still no import of my Outlook calendar. What did I do wrong?

I have read a number of reports of tab crashing, which I have continually. Running 133.0.3 (64-bit) on Win 11 Home 23H2. Very inconsistent crashes, sometime will open new tabs other times it will crash. I have reinstalled no change. I ran refresh, no change and now when I open Firefox I get a message to restore windows. I can't seem to get that message to go away. Any suggestions, especially about the opening message? I have used FF for years and am almost at the point of switching to Chrome. As an aside, also have problems on some websites processing information/orders when using Firefox. No problem when I switch to Chrome. Thanks in advance......
