uninvited www.searchalgo.com has embedded om my lap top. I cannot remove it. Can you help please?
Some how searchalgo.com has become embedded on my lap top. If I click on a new tab it becomes my search page. I can use another like Ask but searchalgo is always there on the next new tab. I do not know what this is but I feel that it is up to know good.
I have tried removing it but cannot. It doesn't show in CCleaner or in my windows removal program.
Can any body help please?
Regards

This works! Also, once you are into the about:config page, search for "Searchalgo" and you will find it tied to some other items within the list that you will want to change.
