Cannot pin extension to firefox since ver 131 umm why not been through the settings add ons and themes no option to pin nothing bloody annoying why could it just be left as is ....

tb 8.0b4 on android 14 samsung ui 6.1 phone. Two gmail accounts (personal and university). Work nicely and tb does not miss emails but I often get notifications "authentication failure, update your server settings". Clicking opens mailbox settings, from where just clicking "next", without making any changes or edits, solves the issue

All of a sudden, when docking the developer tools to the bottom, only the top bar is showing, with nothing below it. It shows fine when docking to the side. What may be the problem?

I have been using both Ubuntu with firefox as my default browser. To type any indic language I have ibus framework and m17n-db engine to type the indic language. Now the problem is the system where it will be used is login as root user. And it is being advised not to open the firefox with root user. However, there is command which actually allow the user to open with any user other than root. I am using this command "sudo -H -E -u user firefox test.html" The test.html is just textarea where I want to type an indic language available in m17n engine. This is perfectly working fine in Ubuntu 16 with firefox version 54. But the same this is not working in Ubuntu 22 with any latest or inbuilt firefox comes with Ubuntu 22. However, if I logged in as normal user , then it works perfectly fine.

I have tried many thing , setting environment in .bashrc of root user so that it get the m17n language but still not working. The one thing which I noticed is , XKB layout is working in both the case with or without user. I am not sure what exactly changes are implemented in the build of firefox which is stopping to type the indic language in the firefox if open with above command. Any specific security check which is causing the problem. Can I just disable it from config page ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, I'm having a problem I don't know how to fix. I was playing around with display settings for testing purposes, and now Firefox is using a window size that apparently is for mobile devices, as I'm getting mobile toggle menus on certain websites. How do I fix this?

Persistent issue. I have now UNCHECKED (UK = unticked) EVERY BOX in the JUNK setings - both GLOBALLY - and for all 9 of my email account settings. Also cleared the "learning" memory.

TB still occassionally intercepts inbox mail and routes to other folders as junk or spam. Odd, but it is often frequently used email of my own origin, or from others on in my address book, but sometimes it actually is junk or spam.

I invest tremendous time in building the filter list and do not want TB to do anything other than follow THAT list.

I will reiterate a post comment that there needs to be an option to have ONE MASTER FILTER LIST to apply to all email accounts.

My name is Vasilis, i'm a data analyst. This is not a question per se; feel free to ignore it. God knows i hate writing emails. It's about your new "sponsored shortcuts" feature and my reasons for disabling it.

Basically... i dont click on new things, ever. If i need something new, i'll look it up, but i wont get to click something new just for being there, nor will i get accustomed to a brand like that. I know it's ad revenue for you guys, but I like my search as simple and distraction-free as it gets. Hell, some times I even just type links on the search bar to begin with.

So yeah. I dont know how marketing works, and how this pays off. I work in marketing; i despise marketing. Your sponsors can suck it. I'll make a donation so you guys can keep doing the good work.

I'd like to know relation between K-9 and Thunderbird. I could't register to https://forum.k9mail.app to chat as no registration email was sent to me during couple of days since I tried to sign up. I don't want another chat app, like Matrix, I prefer forums. Why thunderbird-android on github is signed as "fka K-9". Is K-9 becoming Thunderbird? So why there is Thunderbird beta? Both apps are said to be developed by the same developer on Google Store. I need some additional info before I switch to another all-except-gmail-bloatware email client on a new device.

I work daily on some sites, I open them even several times a day but Firefox periodically deletes them from the suggested urls, so that I have to rewrite them by hand each time. Most of the time they are quite long urls (for example to the admin area) so it is quite annoying to have to rewrite them in their entirety (or go looking for them in bookmarks). It also happens with urls that I keep open all day long like web.whatsapp.com, it happens that all of a sudden I start typing web. and instead of being completed with the site I visit most often I am offered something else visited who knows how long before. Why does this happen?

My mic will not connect to anything with firefox. when on the individual web pages it says mic is allowed but the websites won't detect any microphone. i've tested this with discord and a handful of voice/pitch training websites, the results are always the same. it says the mic is allowed but the website won't pick it up

i've tried clearing my cache and the other recommendations i could find online like allowing autoplay, it still isn't working. i am on a mac using an external microphone and i've already made sure firefox has all mic permissions and that the mic works by testing it in the apple mic test thing as well as with other applications. this problem only comes up with firefox. i also disabled any privacy/security addons (i have ghostery, privacy badger and ublock origin, all currently disabled)

this is very frustrating and i truely don't know what to do about it, any advice would be greatly appricated

The keyboard shortcut to open a private window is not working for me. All other keyboard shortcuts are working, and I can open a private window with the menu. I have tried restarting my computer, updating my computer, and opening Firefox in safe mode, so I am at a loss.

I'm sure some people find your weird separation of saved bookmarks into mobile and desktop folders, but I am not one of them? Is there no way to turn that off in favor of a device agnostic bookmarks collection? Bookmarks almost never just work for me in Firefox because I always have to think about where they might be saved. That's a major point of friction for such a browser.

Hello - I made a mistake and unthinkingly changed the default app to open in response to my clicks on mailto links in Firefox. I've tried to change it back to Outlook. I've managed to include Outlook in the list of apps which come up when I click a mailto link, and ticked it as the default, but the message "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled" comes up as an Outlook window. How can I get it to open a new message in Outlook with the email address in the 'To' line, as it was before?
