Why do graphic images (i.e. buttons, etc) not display correctly on my Windows 11 computer but the same site will show correctly on my Windows 10 computer using FF? Also, why on Windows 11 do the images not show up using FF but do when I use Chrome or Edge? Please advise - DKelly

Hi, there are several threads with my problem, but none of the solutions worked. Here the problem:

I use VPN for a certain database. The site requires authentication, even within vpn, which is not bad. Authentication happens through a small popup window. Each and every time I enter my credentials, Firefox springs back to this stage until my account is locked. Edge or Chrome do not have this problem. I use MS Edge under Linux, only for this one website. I already tried disabling my extension, cleaning my cookies, starting login on a freshly installed Firefox, nothing helped.

I would appreciate any hint not related to the steps already mentioned.

Note that this link works efficiently on Google Chrome.

Please try it and let me know how to change the settings if necessary or fix the problem through you.

After the last update of Firefox I can no longer play my game Gardens of Time on Facebook. I get this message: Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

A few versions ago (donʼt know exact one) a new effect appeared: when pressing right mouse button on an element to get its menu (standard Firefox menu, not overridden by the page), if mouse cursor position is over a popup menu item, this item is immediately selected on mouse _release_ button.

In most cases the context menu popups right to the mouse position and this causes no effect. But if there is no place to right (the selected element is near right screen margin), a menu item appears under the cursor and, as stated above, is selected. It is unpredictable what item will be selected.

This is rather controllable (although annoying) with real mouse but uncontrollable with touchpad, as on most laptops.

Please suggest how to disable reaction on the mouse button release.

Since 132.0-1 and higher (installed with snap) on Ubuntu 22.04, I can't download opened PDF and image files, nor can I use pop-up windows (downloading files only works if there is a clickable button on the website, even "Save link as..." doesn't work). Changing my privacy settings and disabling all sorts of protection add-ons didn't help.

When I click on Firefox, the top menu bar is dimmed. When I click on New Tab or New Window, nothing happens. I've downloaded, reinstalled and updated the latest version of Firefox but it doesn't work. I've also clicked Option when opening Firefox. I click Refresh Firefox and it works but when I quit and restart, I'm back to the same problem again.

I'm unable to stream content on Spotify and Netflix in Firefox due to a recurring "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steps I've already taken to troubleshoot:

• Ensured "Play DRM-restricted content" is enabled in Firefox.
• Tested with a completely clean Firefox profile.
• Tried the portable version of Firefox (131.0.3) as well, but the same issue arose.
• Verified that streaming works fine on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, so I don't think it's an issue with my PC or security software (I temporarily disabled it for testing purposes).
• Made sure I'm not using any VPN or proxy.
• Performed a clean reinstall of the latest Firefox version.

System information:

• OS: Windows 11 (23H2)
• Firefox version: 132.0

YOU HAVE RUINED MY CANON PICTURE PROGRAM THAT I WAS USING TO DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM MY CAMERA MEMORY CARD. AFTER THIS LATEST UPDATE THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE I CAN NO LONGER DOWNLOAD THE PICTURES AS BEFORE OR ATTACH THEM TO EMAILS..

It started doing this last week. I had this happening a couple versions ago but it went away by itself (I think).

Clearing cache won't help, not restarting it in Troubleshoot mode, etc.

Firefox is up-to-date and this was fixed a couple versions ago.

New bug?

Today I was filling in a contract with a government organization. The type that allows me to answer questions and submit. I clicked on something else before finishing and I could not retrieve my work.

I have tried ALL of the suggestions available in HISTORY (restore previous session) open closed tabs etc Etc.

Nothing works

when ever i try to use Firefox to do a Facebook or /messenger video or audio with some on on Facebook it does not let me/. I have tried with all add on disabled and still no. Come on tell me how or what to do. There are others saying the same thing . can you fix it or tell me how to make it work. I have to go to Chrome to use it. Just not right i have used firefox for more that i can remember but if it keeps up you may have me switch to chrome. Please fix it or tell me how to get it
