So my computer had a problem with resource limits so I restarted it. When I opened Thunderbird after the restart, it was like it was a first time installation. It asked me for an email address and was it POP or IMAP and basically looks like it re-setup my Thunderbird. My contacts are there but new folders were created and none of my old emails were anywhere to be found in Thunderbird. They are still in the same directory on my computer as the new default profile directory is putting the folders. My computer is running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Thunderbird is 38.2.0. I need my old emails and folders back as I had stored things in certain places for archiving.

Thanks so much Matt. It was very frustrating yesterday and I love this program.
