Sorry to be so dense but I have received several responses to my problem {Copying emails from desktop to TBird Inbox no longer works} via email. When I log in there are no links to my question. Attached is the latest response. Am I looking for something in the wrong place?

Just FYI - the emails I copied from another computer using CTRL S were then copied to a thumb drive and plugged into a 2nd computer. From the thumb drive, I copied them to the desktop and these files are the ones that will not drag and drop into the TBird Inbox. If I save a received email to the desktop that email can be dragged to the inbox.

Create a subfolder of Local Folders, then add eml files to the subfolder by drag and drop from File Explorer. If you then need to move them to an IMAP folder, that can also be done by drag and drop from the subfolder to the IMAP folder, but only a small number of messages at a time.
