Hi, from time to time I encounter an annoying problem: when I'm typing a website in the address bar and hit Enter, FF opens "about:preferences#search" page. I don't understand why? Please help. Thank you!

There is a cogwheel button in the bottom right corner of the location bar drop-down list that gets highlighted/selected if you press the cursor UP key. When this cogwheel button is highlighted then pressing Enter opens the search preferences page, so that could possibly happen in your case. I don't know if you have touch pad that might be triggering this inadvertently.

No, I don't use arrows keys or touch pad, I'm just typing, I could attach a video, but I'm not sure if that's possible here.
