Thank you, but I solved it by turning of the encryption for Gmail, updating TB and restarting it. Gmail has never allowed me to send encrypted email anyway, so I have other accounts for other parts of my life, Hotmail, Tuta

By looking at your previous topic it appears you have your account at outlook.com. Did you update your authentication method in Thunderbird as required by Microsoft and notified to you by email from Microsoft?
