Hello, I'm using Firefox 35.0a2, however the issue persists across every firefox browser, including regular FF, version 33. Whenever I open up a page of an item on Amazon.com, my console gets spammed with

"The character encoding of the plain text document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the file needs to be declared in the transfer protocol or file needs to use a byte order mark as an encoding signature."

This crawls my browser to a halt. I made a new profile and it didn't help because the issue still persisted. It seems to be a javascript error because noscript will stop the spam, but the site is no longer fully functional. The issue still happens in Firefox safe mode as well. Is this an issue with Amazon? Or something else?

Thanks.

Sure thing. Here's what my console looks like after I load up an amazon product page. More specifically, this is the page I loaded up amazon I just want to note that this happens on any product page, not amazon.com itself.

You can usually ignore such error messages in the web console as they are meant for developers to make them aware of issues with their website.

You can also check your security software to make sure that they aren't modifying the HTTP response headers.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

It is still occuring in safe mode with network support.
