I just used "Cclean" on my computer and erased some content. I have 4 g-mail accounts which I had up on my bookmark bar. Now, when I open any of the 4 g-mail accounts, then switch to another, the first account address attaches to the other remaining accounts. I tried removing all the g-mail addresses from my bookmark bar, opening up each account one by one one and adding each back to the bar, but the first one you open then becomes the address for the others! I even tried placing the main g-mail site window which displays all 4 addresses on the bar but when you pick a g-mail account, that address is the one which attaches to the main site.

This happened to me two years ago but I can't remember how I fixed it!

Your help is appreciated, Lawrence Kirkham

Are you logging out of each Gmail account before attempting to open a different Gmail account?

There are other things that need attention.

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.

You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself. See:

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
