Ist die ANZAHL der ARCHIV-ORDNER begrenzt?

    Ich habe viele Archiv-Ordner!
    Ich habe mehrmals Archiv-Ordner verloren und nicht mehr gefunden.

WO und WIE kann ich die verlorenen Ordner finden?

While it's amazing that we can mark grouped folders as favourites, there seems to be a bug:

The grouped folder (e.g. Inbox) correctly appears in the list of favourites. But soon after it disappears until you uncheck end re-check it to be a favourite via its context menu.

The import of appointments, received per mail, does not work any more. In the past i was able to import an appointment, as .icl file, in my calender. Now I get an error message "The import failed unexpectedly. More information in the error console" There are no additional informations about this error. How can I fix this problem?

Hello, I just got a "forced" update of Thunderbird. Thereafter it refuses to start, giving me the error: "Error Platformversion '128.4.0' is not compatible with minVersion >= 128.3.1 maxVersion 128.3.1" (see attached image). I am now without e-mail on my PC and am not very enthusiastic about this situation. Best regards, Greg Jordan

I used a cleanup program last night and it has wiped out my Thunderbird email account. I restored my computer to an earlier date, but program still won't open. I downloaded a new version of Thunderbird, but it will not let me log into email.

I was working on figuring out an imap timeout problem (previous forum question) when I accidentally deleted the Inbox folder. No problem, I thought, cuze imap protocol will recreate that folder when thunderbird restarts. Problem is, it did, but after a period of time (10-15 mins) the Inbox and Trash (which I didn't delete) disappear. Nothing I do seems to recreate them. Message Synchronizing is on and Inbox & Trash are checked. Doesn't matter if unread emails are in there. When I restart thunderbird Inbox and Trash are back but then disappear.

Sent an email which disappeared and did not reach the receiver. I had this email in Draft first and then finished it and sent it (as normal) and receiver didn't receive it and I couldn't find it anywhere. I need to find this mail. Regards, Werner Pluss

Hello, I use Thunderbird offline quite a bit as I don't always have access to internet. For emails, Thunderbird works wonderfully, thank you very much! For RSS feeds, I can read the Summary of articles offline but not the full article, as I have to use the webview. On my phone, I have Feeder Android app that gives an option to "fecth full articles", I can then read the whole article offline.

Is it possible to do this with Thunderbird?

ever since your last software upgrade, my Thunderbird acct has not allowed me to login. I keep getting message " Sending username did not succeed mail server mail.twc.com responded invalid username or password" for ‘Thunderbird’ I do not know how to reset my account. I have over 150 addresses I can't retrieve. I know there is no one to speak with, but I have no idea how to proceed. I have looked at "saved passwords" and there aren't any on the list. I'm using Thunderbird 128.4esr on Windows 11 with the Cardbook extension to display the address book. However over the last few days it totally lost the address book. All emails are still displayed correctly.

I do a daily back-up to store the last 30 days data. I tried restoring the Thunderbird folder from an earlier date and the address book displays correctly. However if I close and re-open Thunderbird the address book has gone. After trying this numeous times I saw a message "Migrating cardbook DBImage 5/8" as shown in the attached screenshot. It remains stuck on that indefinitely.

The issue isn't with Cardbook as the same happens if I open the Address Book from the top-right menu

Starting on 11/1/24, Thunderbird won't log into several of my comast.net email accounts. I have about 6 emails set up in TB right now and they have been working OK for literally years. First it asks me to sign in to the Comcast email, and then when I enter my password (I've checked, I am do it correctly, I even changed it, doesn't help). I get the error in the attached file.

I deleted the account from Thunderbird, and when I try to add it again, it says it automatically finds the correct configuration, but then I get the comcast login page and again get the same error in the attached file.

Again - I have this issue with 2 comcast email ids, but not three others. I have looked at the server settings to the best of my ability and I can't find anything wrong?

I've tried several times to install Thunderbird but at the last stage, a message says my password is incorrect. There's no way of accessing my password to check it or choosing a new password. I don't know what to do!
