I have not changed my email accounts or my Google & Microsoft usernames or passwords. A few days ago when I started Thunderbird, two Google pop-ups arrive reading "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your Google Account" demanding that I deny or allow it. Why might this be happening and how do I stop it? This does not occur with other email apps such as Outlook for Windows.

I have used Thunderbird for a long time and it's the best. However, I made a donation and all fell apart. Then I made another donation and still nothing works. Then I made another donation and it got worse. I am continually being asked for my password and when I type it in, it says that the password "failed". My password was changed by Comcast so I changed Thunderbird settings to the new password and it's not working at all. I haven't had email now for about 3 months. I've gone to Comcast and they say that all is well on their end. Could my settings be off on Thunderbird. I'm 83-years old and I really need help. My personal email address is SillySam@comcast.net. I also have LatonHigh@comcast.net used for historical research. Please help me.

I am trying to create a Primary Password but getting message: "Unable to change Primary Password" Using Thunderbird Version 128.4.1esr | Released November 4, 2024 under Windows 11.

I recently tried to set up Thunderbird to receive emails on my smart phone while on vacation. The phone was new, and I ran into all kinds of problems with it, including messing up most of my passwords. When I got home; I'm getting a sign in error on my email account, along with other problems. How can I reset to a new password so I ran open the emails that have stacked up?

I have an icloud email address in Thunderbird on my windows laptop. I changed my apple id password and the icloud email has stopped working on my laptop. It asks for a password and does not accept my new password.

hallo zusammen, ich habe heute versucht einen Chat-User mit Passwort zu erstellen, beim Verbindungstest kommt die Fehlermeldung: Passwort falsch;

Gibt es evtl. spezielle Anforderungen zum Passwort oder muss ich hier evtl. eines der angelegten eMail-Accounts benutzen?

Komme hier leider nicht weiter, danke für Eure Hilfe

ever since your last software upgrade, my Thunderbird acct has not allowed me to login. I keep getting message " Sending username did not succeed mail server mail.twc.com responded invalid username or password" for ‘Thunderbird’ I do not know how to reset my account. I have over 150 addresses I can't retrieve. I know there is no one to speak with, but I have no idea how to proceed. I have looked at "saved passwords" and there aren't any on the list. I've tried several times to install Thunderbird but at the last stage, a message says my password is incorrect. There's no way of accessing my password to check it or choosing a new password. I don't know what to do!
