Since the upgrade several days ago, I have not been able to select my saved password on some pages, instead I always see "Use strong password" to create a new one. I have not changed my password or anything, and can still see my account information in the saved passwords setting. How can I recover the way to input my password?

Apparently, if there are input boxes for both a username and a password on the page, my account is automatically set as before. Meanwhile, if there is only a password box, Firefox does not allow me to select my saved password.

I had saved password on my old pc which i dont have now and also bookmarked the site on my fire fox .ho can i access to the password and the site now from my android phone? It was about 3 and half years ago before my divorce. It is very important to me. Thanks

Firefox Android requires my device password in order to view saved passwords, which suggests that passwords are encrypted at rest. However, it can also autofill passwords in webpages without requiring a device password to be entered. This suggests that passwords are unencrypted, at least while the phone is unlocked? (Unsure if device lock state matters.)

I'm wondering, at an app-data level, when are passwords encrypted vs unencrypted?

(Normally Android apps' data are hidden from other processes in secure containers, but certain privileged processes (e.g. especially on a rooted device) can still access this app data. So, I'm wondering if decrypted password data is ever stored in the app's data folder, or does decryption happen exclusively in-memory, or am I misunderstanding it and there's a secret third explanation?)

Every password I tried to enter twice for verification never matched. I even had the "show"option engaged, so I could read letter by letter and never ended with to two that were not completely identical. I even got filthy and graphic in my last few responses knowing final responses vulgar in my last .

I logged into my account because my passwords are not coming up and I used to have a 175 + passwords saved and now I only have 35 I've never erased them or reset my Firefox Mozilla account just wondering how I can go about retrieving my information that has been lost

THIS IS Somewhat difficilt to explain so I hope my complaint/ my explanation here makes sense as i have written it. Let me explain:i had set up my Motorola Stylus 2023 to use Firefox as defailt app for storing passwords and it worked as it should have. Then i had to replace my phone and i got Motorola Stylus 2021 and firefox passwords quit working even though the correct passwords were stored by Firefox.. since this occured Thru investigation i have come to believe/think 5hat Moto App launcher on 2021 model interference is responsible. The moto app launcher on Motorola Stylus 2021 cannot be deleted or forced stopped. Is there another reason and how can i find the answer. Several times when i tried to sign on a particular i got a notice i was using outdated ed / old password but my Firefox password for the site was up to date so something was interfering. This thing of not being able to delete or force stop Moto app 2921auncher really ticks me off because it came preloaded bloatware and my newer Motorola 2023 Stylus functioned proprly and i thvink its because it had no corrupt power uungry Moto App Launcher preinstalled.
