Can you confirm about what problem you have?

Is this about running Java applets on web pages?

Note that Firefox is a 32 bit application and that you need the 32 bit Java version for Firefox. Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

You can find the latest 32 bit Java versions on the Oracle website.

See Java Platform > Java SE 7u67/8u20 (JRE Download;32 bit for Windows)

Just to be sure, even though you have 64-bit Windows you need 32-bit Java since Firefox for Windows is 32-bit.
