Cannot download pictures taken with cell phone. Have to send myself an email with the pictures. Then I can download the pictures to my computer. I've had no trouble with this using IE8. Only with Firefox. Now Photobucket does not support IE8 anymore. What needs to be done to get Photobucket to accept my uploads from FIrefox. My operating system is XP. Pictures when downloaded to comnputer wiind up in Microsoft Picture Manager.

Hi Thank you for your question. I understand that there are some issues with Firefox and Photobucket uploading images and pictures when downloaded to computer wind up in Microsoft Picture Manager.

As for uploading, please make sure that there is not an add on interfering with the upload functionality of the site. You can check to see if it is an add on by trying Firefox in Safe Mode. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

It is possible to change the default program associated with downloads from the XP Control panel.

The problem was with Yahoo mail and probably a bit of operator trouble. When cursor was passed over picture, a small dialog box at the bottom of the picture would open and it said download. Right mouse and save picture did not appear as it normally did with IE8 in place.

I noticed a paper clip in the upper right hand corner of the mail page. This I double clicked on and a black border appeared around the page. I did a copy of this picture and pasted it in MS Picture Manager. Now the upload at Photobucket was successful. Apparently something was missing by just clicking on the download button.

Thank you for your help.
