firefox signifficantly slower since latest update

Since the latest update my firefox seems to have trouble loading video and streaming resources. Browsing through youtube shorts it would not let me scroll down by using the mousewheel or have a delay of 3 secons from time to time. changing to the downarrow to view the next short made me hit an invisible wall at about 200 shorts. browsing twitch also leads to signifficant delays of several seconds until any click action is performed. one time it even crashed so i decided to clear the browser cache and restart my pc. is there a new way the temporary data is stored in the new version? i have 32 GB of RAM and lots of free disk space so that shouldn't be the issue. Firefox used to have no issues whatsoever in older versions regarding videos and streams.

I have been trying to log in to a newspaper website for which I have a subscription. This used to work in Firefox without a problem, but for a while now I have been encountering the problem that when I open the website the usual options "Subscribe" and "Log In" are missing. The "Log In" option is available when I open the website in Microsoft Edge. I have attached screenshots showing the missing links.

I have tried troubleshooting and opening in Safe Mode to disable any add-ons but still without success. I am hoping that there may be a simple solution and would appreciate any help.

I am using Windows 11 and Firefox 133.0.3 (64-bit).

Hello, I am using linux mint. Sometimes when I use the browser is youtube video flies and I play for example a game then I see sometimes some squares on the firefox screen. It also happens that when I use firefox on two monitors I will see such squares. Recently I used with virtualbox firefox it is a virtual machine was running and separately the browser and the computer crashed. I do not know how to collect possible logs that something like this happened, these squares.
