Hi Have you contacted the add-on developer, or look for help at the add-on site or developer site? Hundreds of extra features are created separately, there might not be anyone on this forum who uses that one. It seems this one is not compatible with the latest (68.2) version of Thunderbird. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/s3google-translator/ You should find the developer's page and support from there. have you tried clicking on the box with the translated text? IIRC it opens google translate in the browser, with all the options that entails.

.Just a note for the future. This is a Thunderbird support forum. Add-ons in general are not supported here, except for the few developed by the Thunderbird team. What this is not is a forum where you make a post and then wait around in the hopes someone will address your personal issue, someone will generally respond within24 hours and that is it. Opinion shopping is actively discouraged.

Matt, what is IIRC. the box is not clickable for me , but i did get to the site but cant find the option i need, any more ideas pls .

dont understand that about opinion shopping as im definitely not seeking an opinion although i did seek help with the add on [unless u call that an opinion]

is there a tb add on that gives the alternative translation i need. i cant search it as i cant find the right search term. it would seem to bean essential feature in a translation program

thanks

Tb 68.3.0 is the current Release as the Tb 60.9.1 is EOL now with no more updates for it.

If you do not get internal updates then the 68.3.0 is available at https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/all/

The S3 Translator extension was added to blocklist some twelve hours ago due to violating Mozilla’s add-on policies by collecting ancillary user data. https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.net/eac7bf16-aae5-4958-8b85-5dcc9a3a1ce8.html

S3 translator was the only one that was able to translate all the pages. Now i'm testing many different addons, but no luck so far, to find replacement. For an example this page that somewhat dynamically loads content row by row as you scroll down, it can not be translated with none of the addons, included google official translator web page. https://www.finn.no/job/fulltime/search.html?published=1&q=english

Sorry, i didn't specify. For me the Firerfox automatic full web page translation is broken. Best workaround now is to use Google Chrome.
