I'd imagine it's a simple enough answer to my request but I'm a simple enough user :)

We switched our emails over to hostinger.com - when I downloaded the emails I got all my emails into the inbox, but only a fraction of the sent emails. At the time of importing I could see Thunderbird was downloading all the sent emails, so not sure where they are now?

If I got to Hostinger.com I can see all the sent email there including any I had sent from Thunderbird today.

Any help for this simlpeton welcome

Please help me to get my email to download in Thunderbird. Since May 7, have got the message "Error with account xxxxxxxxx@sbcglobal.net Sending of password for user xxxxxxx@sbcglobal.net did not suceed.  Mail server inbound.att.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later."

Where xxxxxx is either of my accounts.

I can (and do) get my emails using the AT&T ap: https://mail.yahoo.com/

I have been using Thunderbird for decades, and prefer not to try and find another program, and lose all my existing email history.

Getting the settings of my accounts exported to my mobile devices is nowadays as simple as scanning a QR code. I have a desktop which has only one of my accounts configured My question: In theory, it should be also possible to create in the mobile app a QR code to export the settings of my accounts to my desktop app.

Are there any plans to do as well as accept the setting file of the mobile app in the desktop app?

I had to accept a new profile to open the program. It has periodically stalled on downloading emails since. I see new emails arriving on my cell and on webmail, but my main account on my desktop hasn't produced any emails since mid day yesterday. My previous program had a "Get new emails" button but I can't find any in this new home screen. I also have not been able to find what version I'm currently running.

For some reason I lost the ability to view photos in my email. All I see is a white blank box. If I want to look at something, I have to open the photo in new browser. I spend a lot of time looking at and ordering electronic components and I need to see these items in my mail rather opening them up in a browser. Could you please tell how to reset this thing so I can view the photos in my mail?

Dear support/community, I'm a little confused on the support of 115 version of thunderbird. It has been kind of treated as a "esr" version, like below 115.16.0esr indicates.

I know firefox is stopping update until end of 1Q 2025, and my assumption that applies to all Mac, Windows and Linux and till then firefox will get high/medium CVE patches if impacted --- is this the right assumption?

I'm not sure about the situation of thunderbird. while I intend to believe similar to firefox, also told that 115.16 is the last 115 version.

I have a working system. Using Thunderbird on Linux Mint MATE. I install on a new system and copy over the .thunderbird directory. Some accounts are working just fine, but two accounts have only new emails showing up. On the webmail interface, of course, these two accounts have only the new emails. But I do not understand the system well enough to work out why the old setup shows the old emails and does not match the webmail.

I am new to TB and just getting used to the settings coming from Outlook. I assume that when a message is delete in the inbox the next message can be displayed in the viewing pane. This is not happening for me. I have tried: Not having messages Threaded. Setting: mail.advance_on_delete mail.delete_matches_sort_order mail.advance_on_spacebar All to True. No joy so far!

What am I missing?

Good morning, We use the latest version of the Thunderbird email program. We've noticed an issue with displaying messages in the list. Detailed case description below

The problem occurs when sending @. When a user sends an e-mail, it is saved in the sent mailbox. The user enters the list of sent e-mails and sees an incorrect addressee in the to field - in most cases identical to the one in the previous e-mail sent. The content of the email is correct or displayed incomplete The problem does not occur with all emails sent, only randomly The problem is so troublesome that the user is misled by the program After rebuilding the folders in TB, the @ sent list is displayed correctly

I just installed the latest Flathub Thunderbird, on Ubuntu 24.04. I was able to set up an account, but then disconnected my wifi while downloading mail, and the whole screen just froze. Tried to close but it wouldn't. This happens on both Thunderbird and Betterbird.

I recently changed Internet providers and thus my email address. My old email address under Shaw was matthew2523@shaw.ca . My new email address is matthew4246@telus.net . Also, with Telus I was able to establish Thunderbird on this computer through Google gmail which Telus uses for its email program.

However, when I installed Thunderbird on my other computer it was still connected with the Shaw system and therefore, I could not get into Thunderbird to make the necessary changes that I did with this computer. And so, I don't know what to do to solve this problem.

Do you have any ideas?
