I have tried every fix presented in this support forum and nothing works. My boyfreind has the same exact computer and operating systems and his computer plays You Tube videos. I can get You Tube to play on Explorer. My Firefox is the latest version and so is my Flash Player. Any ideas?

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Oddly enough, the how to revert to an older Flash version is on a You Tube video. As I mentioned before, I have the current flash, but an older version 15.0.0.246 allows my boyfreind to play videos and we have the same exact machines. But as I can play the videos via explorer can the issue really be my flash drive? My computer orginally can with a You Tube app which I may have removed from my system in error instead of just removing it from my start up screen. Any more suggestions please?

With many installer pages, the page reads the kind of system and the browser information, and then gives you a program that matches that set of programs. For example, from the same computer, go to the same web page, but using a different browser each time, you would be given the program that matches that pairing each time.
