I am supposed to be on the esr release program, but today I was automatically updated to beta release 133.0. This is the second time this happened. Thunderbird shows a red screen, and recommends I install the last stable release, 128.5.0esr, which is what I want to do. But the last time, when I tried to go back to a stable release, it then wouldn't let me do that because it says the profile may no longer be compatible. I solved it painfully using timemachine backups of older profiles.

What is the simplest, safest way to downgrade, now that I am in this situation? And why is this happening?

Cannot receive new emails after the recent SOFTWARE UPDATE. Have been using MOZILLA seamlessly up till this latest SOFTWARE UPDATE. The mailbox shows the new design but no new messages are coming.

ERROR MESSAGE: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

The latest update to Firefox includes a new Review Checker. It is activated by pressing the price tag in the address bar when on a specific product page in Amazon, etc. This price tag does not appear on my laptop when I am on a product page. Is there an activation method I am not using? How do I get the price tag to appear?

What can I do to have Firefox be compatible with my emails. When I open an email for the local newspaper, the news paper is distorted and enlarged 200% and asks me to sign in. Everything was fine until the most recent Firefox update.

I want to remove the recent update which results in Firefox and some of my email links to be incompatible. The newspaper link works on Safari but I do most of my activity on Firefox.

Also, the email link works fine on Google Chrome. But I hate Google Chrome and don't want to use it. I would prefer that the Firefox browser be compatible with sites such as my local newspaper.

Since my thunderbird updated two weeks ago I am unable to open attachments properly. They seem to open as a web page not displaying all the information. Also my emails are in large font and not displaying co9rrectly. The interface is also a lot smaller in general.

Can anyone help please to restore to normal settings.

I have been unable to complete the update/upgrade of Firefox on my Laptop. Upon starting my computer I have downloaded the upgrade file offered in the opening message. It performs normally right up to the end when it gives a message that something went wrong. It then offers an alternate download and method to upgrade which downloads fine and begins to install. At the end of this install, the install wizard says "finished" however despite the "Launch Firefox" box is checked, it never opens Firefox. For some reason the update is not completing, and now I am having trouble with some Apps opening which I suspect is due to the browser being out of date. I have tried clearing my Cache and Cookies and re-trying but have remained unsuccessful. I really could use some assistance with getting my browser successfully updated. Best Regards, Brian

Hello, I've got the french version of Thunderbird on my laptop. I want to have it now on my smartphone Android. But impossible to find the function "move to mobile" in the parameterss... Please help me !

I just downloaded Thunderbird on my new Mac, asked it to synch with my email and it's done it very imperfectly, missing lots of folders and sub-folders, showing deleted and archived folders (in italics) and so on. It did this on a previous desktop too, where I uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled it to try - but failed - to solve the issue. What did I, or it, do wrong and how do I correct it? on Windows 11, my installation of Thunderbird was only partially successful. I created my own installation path, as permitted by the Thunderbird installation instruction which included a "Local Folders" folder as a placeholder for all of my wife mail folders. But after copying all of her mail folder to C:Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\Local Folders - Thunderbird can't find them . The installation app gave no warning of impending doom. Any ideas about what might have gone wrong? I installed Thunderbird several times into slightly different paths - but not the default because I do my own backups and need to know where my files are located. Even though I am the administrator of the system I also got some messages telling me I wasn't an authorized user. Thanks for any tips, ideas or even complete solutions are appreciated.
