I use Thunderbird for email, when on MX Linux I use the Flatpack version. I've noticed that the Thunderbird configuration frequently resets itself, from using local folders on an adjacent disk, to a location within the Flatpack. I know when this happens because I can then no longer send emails; I have to copy any text written, enter setup, re-select the desired folder, and re-start Thunderbird.
