Hi every time I click on a link the tab does not show up automatically. So I need to go back to the browser manually to land on the page linked to the link I clicked on.

Firefox is set as default browser.

I've checked the setting and "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is flagged. I've tried to switch to Chrome as default browser and I do not have the same issue.

Please advise on how to fix this since it is very annoying.

Hey, I really enjoy your effort for bringing thunderbird to mobile devices, however one thing that I realized since K-9 is that when composing messages HTML is not supported unfortunately..

Also I would like to be possible to add my signature that has HTML in it also, however it does not render as an HTML String but renders as a normal text :/

I believe that this for companies is very important!

I wanted to create shortcuts on my new tab page.

I deleted the sponsor shortcuts one by one and now the three dot button disappeared. No matter what I try, I cannot figure out how to add shortcuts to the new tab page.

Could you help me? Do I need to reinstall Firefox?

Dear all, Regardless of the theme in Thunderbird I choose, whenever I open a message the background color of the messages is light yellow, what is quite awful and often prevents some message from been read because of the lack of contrast.

I can't find a way to change that. Is there a way to change that, for instance by editing the contents of the XPI of the theme I use?

What should be the CSS code used for that?

Hi. I'm having problems with reinstating my profile files after inadvertently letting a software update programme update Thunderbird, leaving me with a blank Thunderbird, i.e no accounts etc. I've tried copying the Profile folder from a backup of 2-3 days ago, but it insists on loading a different profile to the one i want (gasu8cec-default-release). How do I make it load the profile I want?

Up to version 132b1, account retrieval worked. Since Version 132b2 (b3, b4, b5, b6, 133b1) following fault:

The setting is ‘Only download header data when starting TB’

Since 132b2 the following message and click link is missing: "Download the rest of the message"

I send messages over php with a link, for example:

When I copy the source code the link is correct. When I copy the whole html mail source code in a blank page and save it as .html, the link is correct, too. It works and the code generator (notepad++) shows no error.

But:

In the Mail Preview an -view the link is shorten to: ttps://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.7997283719618&mlon=7.796087265014649&zoom=15&layers=M The first h is gone. Any idea, how this could happen?!

I used to be able to copy a Table from a Word document and past it into a Thunderbird email and maintain the formatting. Between 1 Nov and 2 Nov I can no longer do this. When I copy and paste the formatting is lost. Can you help please? Thank you.

I would like to turn the Thunderbird Spam Filter totally off. It marks legit mails with *** Spam *** and is just annoying.

I followed all instructions in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages

I unchecked 'Enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account' in all accounts.

AND STILL: Why is the junk filter active?

I would like to raise a bug report for this.

thunderbird version 2024 - toolbar customization: missing: "delete" and "junk"

we send a note as i handle average day, some 1000 emails in thunderbird.

for handling this , we use thunderbird last 10 years, where as the mail toolbar is:

previous - next - (delete ) - (junk )

In all versions up to 2023 , we would install above 4 (four ) settings on one line after each other.

In the new version from 2024 , the settings between: ( ) , are no longer in the main possibilies, but

we must use these settings on the line under; which takes far more time than all on one line.

Is it possible to have the ( ) settings, in the next new version , back again , like before ??

I have not changed my email accounts or my Google & Microsoft usernames or passwords. A few days ago when I started Thunderbird, two Google pop-ups arrive reading "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access your Google Account" demanding that I deny or allow it. Why might this be happening and how do I stop it? This does not occur with other email apps such as Outlook for Windows.

I am trying to access the link "https://www.sorn.service.gov.uk/". This is the address of a click through from the webpage "https://www.gov.uk/make-a-sorn".

I keep getting this error:

I am on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.5011, using Firefox 132 (64-bit), not running Kaspersky, I do have AdGuard (7.19.0 (4853) (CL 1.16.44, DL 2.5.41 )) and Malwarebytes (4.6.17.334) on my system along with their browser adons. I have attached some screenshots, hope they are useful.
