When I forward messages, I like to format them without all the accumulated annoying indentations.

In Eudora, I could strip out that paragraph indentations easily while keeping the HTML links for like pictures (which would happen if I just converted to plain text). I could select all...then hit the Typewriter button followed by the Clear Formatting button. Bingo, all text formats are converted to plain and all paragraphs are set to the left margin!!

How do I do that with Thunderbird?

Attached is a pic showing the indentations I want to get rid of.

TIA...

Evan
