How do I Open Download on my new MacAir? On firefox? Itsays for MAC USERS you are suppose to hit small mag. glass next ro downoad, I have talked to Canon who is now closed 800-652-2666 & my internet provider who doesnt think I need a booster. I am in a wheelchair & live by myself.

i'm tired of overriding firefox settings so that i can access my servers and lab equipment, or run scenarios to point out why security is in place. some of the about:config overrides work sometimes, others they don't. then firefox updates and I hve to reset them or go through the whole proccess every time i spin up a new environment.

please tell me someone knows of an easily solution for this? is it a dev release of firefox? a different browser?

i tried installing old versions of firefox but they don't support modern stuff. how difficult is it to be able to, in the same way i can allocate permissions per website for things like location or camera access, for insecure tls or invalid certificates?

i know it's invalid and can't be verified. that's the point.

I use multiple dialing apps in my business. When I choose a specific app, it opens in the same window as my source data for the call. I have recently began using a new computer. In my previous computer the dialing app I chose opened in a new tab. Please help.

I have to sign-in to my computer this morning, which normally indicates a Microsoft update ran the previous night.

DuckDuckGo, Chrome, and Edge all seem to be able to pull up website; not so for Firefox.

I redownloaded Firefox - no change. I deleted Firefox, ran CCleaner, and downloaded the software again - no luck.

I cleaned my registry of its orphan files - no luck.

I turned off my VPN - no luck.

So I am forced to use another browser until I can get this fixed.

Suggestions?

I upgraded to Windows 11 on a new machine a few days ago. Had to re-install all my software from scratch.

I just discovered I can’t create subfolders. Not sure long the problem has existed (I don’t create subfolders very often).

I tried creating a subfolder on several different top level folders, on multiple accounts (Hotmail & Gmail). The "name new folder" dialog never appeared. No error message appeared, either.

Windows Task Manager shows 2% CPU usage, and 21% memory in use.

    I have always used my Firefox browser to access my bank accounts, one being my private account and the other for my company account.  I noticed however last week that I could not log in to my company account but I had no problem logging in to my private account.  I contacted the bank ( Handelsbank in Sweden) who were surprised but said that this problem may occasionally arise with the Firefox browser.  (However it has never happened before to me over the last 10 years!)  Is this a temporary gliche or do I have to switch to another browser ? !

Hello, I'm having some problems with multiple websites at the moment on log in, when i put my personal information and click on the logging button, nothing happens, and i have tried with another browse (chrome), the next action is show a captcha to permit the log in, that can't be shown on Firefox.

Some sites are Coursera, this is where i recognized this problem, the other is Good Smile Company (the US version).

Can anybody know how to solve this? i want to stay on Firefox for all my internet navigation.

When I'm using Firefox Multi-Account Containers with the option "Limit to designated sites" enabled, I encounter an annoying issue when navigating between different subdomains of the same website.

For example, if you navigate from "https://www.google.com" to "https://accounts.google.com," you will exit the "Google" container until that subdomain is manually added to the container.

I thought it would be nice if I could somehow create a container for "https://*.google.com/" (where * acts as a wildcard, as explained in the note below).

• Is it possible to do this? If so, how, and what is the safest way? (See note below)
• If not, is there any viable solution to this problem?

Note: The RegEx (or wildcard) * should only allow alphanumeric variations to prevent security vulnerabilities. For instance, "https://www.PhishingSite.com/WeStealYourAccount.google.com" could bypass the container if * is not restricted properly. In this case, * could mistakenly refer to "www.PhishingSite.com/WeStealYourAccount"

I cannot use Firefox due to this error message. What do I do now?

I'm not understanding just what would happen if I cancel my cable service (don't watch TV) and go to strictly streaming services, that I'm using now exclusively anyway. Can you help my poor confused brain function again???

I only have a few tabs open at any one time, usually only one or two. I only have adblock plus and bitwarden as extensions. But when I open firefox desktop, even before I've navigated to any page, it is using a few hundred MB to almost a GB of memory.

Not long ago all my search queries starting showing up in French instead of my default language English.

Every time I click Change to English I get taken to Google's Search Settings with NO indication where to make English the Default language. When I click Parametre de langue I am taken to the Google Search Settings - Language and region. Here I change Language of display to English...., but when I close the window and start up again it jumps right back to French.

It's driving me nuts!

Every day I get a pop up regarding a new update. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH .

HOW DO I STOP THIS PERMANENTLY AS I PREFER NOT TO GO BACK TO CHROME. IT SEEMS THAT YOU GET OFF BY SENDING OUT THESE UPDATE NOTICES, EVEN THOUGH I DO UP DATE JUST TO GET YOU OFF MY BACK!!

When using PowerSchool, there are lots of students with addresses listed, in the various forms. Every time we leave the page, if we edited anything, Mozilla asks if we want to save the address. This is verified to be Mozilla when we click on the 3 dots for settings, and it takes us to the Autofill and Save Adresses box that is clearly unchecked.

In the Privacy and Security settings, we have unchecked the boxes for saving and filling addresses, as well as auto-filling form information.

What else do we need to disable to get it to stop asking to save addresses for every single student we need to modify in PowerSchool (and probably for other sites as well)?
