How can I get hide/show toolbars to again function independently on multiple instances of firefox?

I run two instances of firefox.exe. One for the left monitor, and one for the right. There is a toolbar that I want to see on the right monitor, but I do not want to see it on the left monitor. This never used to be a problem, but now it is. It seems as if though now for whatever reason show/hide toolbars are inextricably-linked, and by changing or viewing one toolbar on one instance will simultaneously cause the exact same change on the other open instance. I'm hoping there might be a simple solution for this in the about:config, however, I'd rather not tamper with those settings until I'm sure which setting with fix this particular problem.

Toolbar settings are common to all open windows of that Firefox instance. I don't know if there is an extension that allows to set this window dependent, so you can check the Add-ons website. If you can't find one then you would have to use a second instance with its own profile.

You can add -no-remote to the command line to open another Firefox instance with its own profile and run multiple Firefox instances simultaneously.

Okay, thanks allot for the advice. Your trick works, I cloned my profile and now I can have to toolbars operate show/hide independently.
