After update, Tbird Folder Tree shows TWO groups of Local Folders & the new one (higher up) is defective
I would like to remove the newly added listing "Local FOlders" from the Folder Tree and restore the Local Folders listing that was moved to the bottom (below All Folders) to its proper place, namely Above Local Folders. This group displays Sent Copies which I use frequently. The newly added 2nd display called "Local Folders" does not disply "Sent Copies" when I click on it in the folder tree. Thunderbirfd decided to move my original "Sent Folders" display to the bottom of the tree when updating to the latest version last night (early morning hours of 6/26/24). I run thunderbird in Windows 10 Desktop on Lenovo w530 using wired internet connection.

I see unified and all folders both turned on.
Beside New Message are three dots ... click on them and deselect unified folder view
Thank you. You are correct that one of the Local Folder displays disappeared when I turned off Unified Folders. However, I need the Unified folders view because I combine two of my email acocunts in my inbox, sent and trash views.
Before recent update I was able to use Unified Folders and still saw only a single Local Foldelrs group in the tree, and it included the Sent Copies folder, which I also depend on.
(After reading your helpful post, I also tried the opposite approach: In the folder view mode setting, I turned off All Folders and turned on only Unified Folders.
That did hide one of the double Local Folders in the tree display,, BUT...unfortunately,the one that got hidden was the only one that included "Sent Copies"....
So I how can I get back what I had before the update? (That is, using Unified Folders, but showing Sent Copies in just one group of Local Folders displayed in the folder tree? Thank you for your help.
The problem is now solved. It got fixed when I removed an extra group of sub-folders that somehow got placed into the Sent Copies folder (I think during the Upgrade). Now any and all views of the Folder Tree do show the Sent Copies folder under Local Folders. Thanks.
