how do I associate yahoo mail with firefox?

Anything I try to send from an online source says I have no email program associated with it. I have had my yahoo mail account over 20 years. What do I need to do?

Hi sharon74464, what method are you using to try to send the message?

Firefox has an Email Link button (it's also on the old File menu you can activate by tapping the Alt key). This should pop up a list of different email options that Firefox knows about. Or you can try the steps in this article: Change the program used to open email links.

If you are using a different sharing button, it might require some other kind of setup.

Unless there is a Addon Yahoo that would be the only way to get FF to connect to Yahoo email. Did you see if there was one? I don't recall if FF can associate itself with a Yahoo email program. But you might have to ask Yahoo email support this question as well.
