Create diffusion list
Hello, excuse me for my bad english. I use thunderbird 128.4 esr on linux 64 bits ( Ubuntu 24.04). I would to create a diffusion liste, to transmit frequently messages to some friends. The thunderbird help https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/comment-creer-et-utiliser-des-listes-de-diffusion say : - 1 open adress book -> OK with menu Tools/Adress book - 2 select Files/new/diffusion list
-> I've not this item on my PC ! on the left column, only 3 items :
- All adress books
- Personals adress
- Collects adress
The support page isn't for my Thunderbird version. How can i create one diffusion list ? Thank you very much. Jean

Hello sfhowes. Oups ! thank you for your help, vocabulary and technical. It's work fine. I don't see this, because when i use the second screen and move the mouse pointer on this icon there isn't help comment about utility. So i didn't know what is this function icon. The help comment appears only when i work on the same screen that thunderbird. Thank you very much. Jean

The English term for this is 'mailing list', and you can create one by clicking the icon in the attached picture. Option 2 in the support article is the most effective method for adding contacts to the list.
