Why isn't non use of "automatic download" an available option for my new Email address ???
With Thunderbird my old Email settings have an option to not have messages automatically downloaded. I have established a new Email address which does not have a automatic download box as an option to not check. How can I avoid an automatic download with my new address ???

1 account POP and the other IMAP?
Yes. My old address is POP and my new address is IMAP.
Imap is pushed from the server when they arrive.
