Download photos and files on Firefox for iOS

Firefox makes it easy to download photos and PDF files on your iPhone or iPad. The downloads panel on the Firefox home screen makes it easy to find the files you downloaded.

Download files

  1. Tap and hold on a download link on a web page to bring up a menu of actions for that link.
  2. Select Download Link.
  3. Tap Download Now in the prompt that appears at the bottom of the screen.

  4. A progress bar will appear to show you the status of your download. To cancel the download, tap the X to the right of the progress bar.
  5. When your download is complete, a Downloads button will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Access downloaded files

  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):

  2. Tap Downloads download icon 57 to view a list of your downloaded files.

Share or delete a downloaded file

  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):

  2. Tap Downloads download icon 57.
  3. Swipe left on a file. The Share and Delete buttons will appear.
