I have a screen come up asking for verification on an email that I deleted from Google. It was one I created. So are the other 2 seen in this screenshot.

I have attached the message popup. This is fairly regular. I imagine it is saved somewhere. I do not know where. Do you? Or do you have another fix to remove this ongoing (annoying) request?

I just updated to Nebula and all of my inbox emails (from gmail) have disappeared.

All of the other folders are intact, including the sent folder. I also have another email account in this client (my work email) and these are also fine. It's only affected my gmail inbox messages.

I'm using this email for job applications currently so would really appreciate help figuring out how I recover my emails. Thank you!

Hallo, leider ruft Thunderbird alle Microsoft Mailadressen nicht mehr ab und behauptet die Passwörter wären falsch. Im Browser funktionieren die PW aber. Das Problem trat nicht direkt nach der Sicherheitsumstellung ab 16.09.24 von Microsoft auf da hatte ich das empfohlenen Update von Thunderbird gemacht und es funktionierte alles. Nach einem neuerlichen Update ist dieses Problem aufgetreten. Ich bitte höfflich um Unterstützung. Vielen herzlichen Dank. MfG S.Dietsch

I have an existing account (email name) that is being moved to a different server.

The new server uses a different security setting and also needs a different user name in the account settings field.

However, I can't change more than one of these things at a time because with each value added to a field, thunderbird insists on a restart, so I can never enter a consistent set. Each time, Thunderbird detects that the settings don't work and resets everything.

I tried making another account, but after working for a while that seems to have evaporated on me.

In the meantime, I'm not able to get to my mail.

Salve, premesso che non sono un esperto di tante cose però cerco di spiegare cosa mi è capitato IL 25/09/2024. Mentre operavo da mail di alicemail da casa, mi è uscito a video un messaggio tipo (vuoi associare la mail a thunderbird o qualcosa di simile), c'erano due opzioni SI o NO. Forse erroneamente ho risposto SI e non so come, dal quel giorno non riesco ad accedere più alla mia mail di alice nemmeno a leggere la posta, quando provo a entrare con le mie credenziali, rilasciando il seguente messaggio di errore "accesso al server non riuscito. Prova più tardi". Sto cercando di spiegare cosa mi è successo a parole mie, non sono un tecnico e non informatico, scusate se mi sono dilungato ma per me è un problema serio e sto cercando in qualche modo di risolvere. Grazie anticipatamente a coloro che leggono e se possono darmi dei consigli utili. Grazie

Hey folks, I have a serious issue with thunderbird and my Posteo account. Neither the calendar (CalDav) nor the address book (CardDav) can be connected to the latest thunderbird version. I always get on of the following errors: "No calendar found under this address. Check Settings" or "Connection failed". Interestingly, the chosen settings work perfectly fine on my smartphone (using Davx5). Any suggestions?

I recently had to reinstall windows, consequently reinstall Thunderbird. During installation I set up the account as I did years ago but it does not show my 23 folders. It shows only inbox & trash. So, I imported my account from a backup and it has all my folders. The problem is that both accounts have the same name, email address, & password. I would like to delete the account that has NO folders and use only the one with my 23 folders. Both accounts currently show all incoming emails. Will deleting the one account by any chance delete the other one since they are identical in name, email address, & password? Thanks.
